German Pastel Collection: Juveniles

This is a collection, and you will end up with a nice mix of softer colors than is standard for coturnix quail. Because of the parents being mixed they hatch true about ninety percent of the time. The other ten percent are a mix of pharaoh, Italian, Rosetta, and white. These birds are very pretty but still have an impressive ability to lay over 300 eggs per year with supplemental light. Their eggs are 12-13 grams, and the adult birds are 10 oz. each. These birds are sometimes feather sexable depending on the color variation but either way are vent sexable at 6-8 weeks of age.

Each breeder set comprises eight females and two males. Each male only set comprises 10 males.
