These quail have the extended brown gene which means what you think; it means resulting in a very pretty bird. These birds, more than many others, look a lot better in person. They also lay the most eggs out of all our color varieties. This isn't because of the color but all our colors have their egg laying genetics advanced to slightly different levels, resulting in some color types being a little more productive than the rest. These and the fawn color are our best laying quail.
